Using its chemoinformatics technologies, MolGenie has designed and synthesized novel, small molecule compounds as putative GPCR antagonists. With financial support from “Mitteln des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE)” we have recently tested those molecules for their biological profile against a range of interesting GPCR receptors and found molecules that are highly selective histamine H1 receptor antagonists as well as selective muscarinic M1 receptor antagonists.
